World sales of LCD-TVs with light-emitting diode (LED) illumination and a diagonal of the screen from 40 inches inclusive in 2010 will grow in comparison with 2009 almost in 8 times. In 2009 it has been sold about 2,5 million such devices, and next year it will be sold 18,8 million, informs iSuppli.
The given growth becomes a consequence of three factors: more a grreat demand from outside consumers, the tendency to decrease in energy consumed y TVs and presence of corresponding details at suppliers.
Under the forecast of analysts, by 2013 annual sales of LCD-TVs with LED-illumination and a diagonal of the screen from 40 inches inclusive will geow to 112,1 million pieces, and the mid-annual rate of increase during the period with 2008 for 2013 will make 405 %. In 2008 of such devices it has been sold only 34 thousand pieces.
In 2013 in 83,2 % LCD-TVs with a diagonal of the screen of 40 inches more illumination on base diodes also will be used. In 2008 such type of illumination was used in 0,1 % the sold LCD-TVs, in 2009 – in 6 %.
