3D LCD-panels are started in a batch production

Company Samsung declared the beginning of serial release of television LCD-panels with traditional lamp and light-emitting diode illumination. In manufacture models with a diagonal 40, 46 and 55 inches with the physical permission 1920 x 1080 pixels supporting frequency of updating of the screen of 240 shots in second are started, informs Reg Hardware.

In the company consider that frequency in 240 Hz allows to achieve more accurate display of moving objects that the spectator wwill necessarily notice at a conclusion of a three-dimensional content. Besides, time of the response of pixels in new panels has been reduced by 20 % in comparison with panels of the previous generations. Earlier in January Samsung announced 9000th series of LCD-TVs which also support frequency of updating of 240 Hz. Siimilar devices are let out also by other manufacturers.

Active stereo glasxes which will allow the image to get into the left and right eye alternately will be necessary for stereoeffect reception on TVs with new panels Samsung for the spectator. The maufacturer assures that backlog between display of the image for the first and second eye does not exceed 4 that is imperceptible for the person.

Earlier in January Samsung declared cooperation with the Californian company RealD. Last is the leading developer of technologies of display of films in a 3D-format. For four years on the basis of technologies of company RealD 25 films have been let out, including James Kameronas Avatars, and even more 50 films prepare for display.

Company Samsung which is the worlds largest manufacturer of LCD-panels for TVs, volumes of output of new panels does not inform. According to the forecast of analytical firm DisplaySearch, in 2010 in the world it will be sold 1,2 million TVs with support 3D in comparison with 200 thousand such devices in 2009 Nevertheless, despite impressive growth, the share of such receivers remains enough small if to have in view of that total sales of TVs of all types following the results of current year are predicted on a mark in 218 million pieces. In 2018 of sale of TVs with support 3D will grow to 64 million units.
